The Tongariro Crossing is considered by many to be the finest "one day walk" in New Zealand, if not the world. The trail takes hikers through a volcanic plateau of old lava flows, volcanic craters, and gives allows the opportunity to walk between a field of three active volcanoes; Mt Tongariro, Ruapehu, and Ngauruhoe (which stars as the Lord of the Ring's Mount Doom). Vang Vieng, located on the Nam Song river, is a popular riverside party location in Laos. this enormous slide is one of the main attractions here.

Sailing through the Whitsunday Islands is one of the most popular attractions in Australia. For further exploring the coast and the reef, kayaks are a great way to get close up.

The secret local swimming hold Kipu Falls. It is a freshwate swiming hold surrounded by 20 foot walls which provide for excellent cliff diving and a enormous rope swing. This used to be a locals only location, but tourists often find the secret path leading to the swiming hold. The locals love to show off swing acrobatics for the tourists.
